Meeting the Challenge
CEDAX is a third generation oral cephalosporin indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate:
- Acute Bacterial Exacerbations of Chronic Bronchitis due to Haemophilus influenzae (including ß-lactamase-producing strains), Moraxella catarrhalis (including ß-lactamase- producing strains), or Streptococcus pneumoniae (penicillin-susceptible strains only).
- Acute Bacterial Otitis Media due to Haemophilus influenzae (including ß-lactamase- producing strains), Moraxella catarrhalis (including ß-lactamase-producing strains), or Streptococcus pyogenes.
- Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis due to Streptococcus pyogenes.
Available in: Oral Suspension (90 mg/5 mL) and (180 mg/5 mL) and Capsules (400 mg)
